Before the process begins, we start by carefully inspecting your dress to ensure the proper techniques and products are used. We test a small patch of fabric to make certain it doesn’t stain or damage the fabric. We also inspect for stains or damage that may need special treatment.

Based on the inspection, we prepare the proper products for your gown’s cleaning. Also certain aspects of your gown will have to be covered or removed, such as bead work or hoops. These items are carefully removed and marked to be replaced after cleaning.

We will meticulously go over each inch of your gown and pretreat it by hand prior to cleaning. We will spend an unlimited amount of time spot treating any stain and soil. Not every stain can be removed, but we will spare no expense in trying.

Next, we clean your wedding gown and give it an anti-sugar stain treatment. We use special machines and cleaning solutions specifically made for the fabric of your gown. Once cleaning is complete, we use a white glove treatment to maintain cleanliness and prevent any new soils. 

Having your wedding gown steamed and pressed is the perfect way to have your gown looking pristine and beautiful for your special day. Once your gown is cleaned, it will be pressed or steamed to prepare it for storage in the museum quality case.

Lastly, we inspect the gown to remove all visible stains. We invite you to join us in the inspection to guarantee your satisfaction. All elements of the gown are reassembled and placed in a museum-quality chest with acid-free tissue to prevent yellowing.
